You are listening to an impromptu sound piece produced by a group of artists, poets, storytellers, and cultural producers participating in a workshop at First Floor Gallery Harare (FFGH). We edited it together in the open source software Audacity. FFGH is located in the inner city; traffic is dense, also online. So, we had to comfort ourselves with “dry” exercises via pdf’s, screenshots and screen-movies of online sites. The track had to be uploaded in nightshift to the All Africa Sound Map later. The workshop was addressing the possibilities of sharing multimedia content online, introduced by radio continental drift.
